Google has just launched a newer version of Google Maps for Mobile. One of the main features of the new version is the ability to work as a full scale GPS device including 3D mode traffic updates and such. However, Google never stops at providing what’s already been out there. So, the newer app has an option to display satellite view as you drive and even street view (where Google street view is available) so you never miss your turn. Besides, if you have iPhone or any other compatible type of smart phone Google maps allows you to say your destination into your phone in plain English which, not only makes you look cool but also sa­ves a lot of hassle and type that can get you into an accident. The last but probably one of the best part about all of it – the app is %100 free thanks to Google. (But don’t forget that your cell phone provider is still charging you for dataplan usage).
